Mobile home purchase payment terms

Standard "package" with plot (delivery & install on our listed sites)

A minimum instalment of 30% of agreed purchase price is required to secure any mobile home & plot package. This payment becomes due when you select and agree to purchase one of our mobile home packages. This is usually after a site visit and plot reservation have been made, but not exclusively. The balance becomes due on the 14th day thereafter,  unless by prior arrangement.

Home & logistics package without plot (delivery to own plot/land)

A minimum instalment of 10% of currently advertised purchase price is required to secure any mobile home & logistics package (no plot etc). The balance becomes due on the 14th day thereafter,  unless by prior arrangement. Product allocation and logistics arrangements are confirmed within seven days of final payment.

Expediting orders

We understand some clients may value a shorter delivery schedule above the convenience provided by split payment. To that end we offer an expedited delivery service for clients wishing to pay in full with order. If the balance is paid in full with order, product allocation and logistics arrangements begin immediately. This offers a 2-3 week advantage over our standard deposit + delayed balance system, cutting delivery times accordingly.

We accept payment by most major credit/debit cards, cheque, bank transfer and cash. Credit card payments attract a 2% surcharge.

We work hard to provide as much information as possible on the website for each specific site location, and to ensure that information is always available 24/7. Please ensure you digest the information provided for the site(s) of interest, it will assist you in choosing the best site for you and your family with the minimum of effort and help in avoiding mistakes as you progress through the purchase. The website provides many hundreds of pictures of the sites and homes on offer. In the pursuit of accuracy actual photographs obtained by our own staff are used wherever possible, rather than commercial archive material, so you can be confident all presentations are as accurate as possible. However in some matters we are dependent to a degree on information provided by the site operators, and cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of that information. The website also provides a plethora of information specific to each location, both for the site and its surrounding areas. All ongoing costs applicable to the site(s) are plainly stated online, as are mobile homes prices and total package costs. This information is collated from our own resources and those provided by the site in question, we make every effort to ensure such information is accurate but cannot accept liability for any inaccuracies’ which may occur from time to time. We will make initial arrangements with the site of your choice on your behalf; this will include plot allocation, transport as necessary, documentation and customs controls etc. including the necessary payments of duties. Your mobile home will then be delivered to your chosen site on a schedule to be agreed, subject to plot availability at that time. As we do not ourselves own or operate these parks but act as a marketing agent, all annual site fees should be paid directly to the site reception, usually after your arrival on the park TRANSIT INSURANCE & GOODS SHIPPED INSIDE HOMES Clients are limited to shipping only those items deemed accessories to the home. These may include items such as bedding, cushions, curtains, crockery and other associated household items only. Customs authorities throughout Europe reserve the right to inspect all cargos for goods, including any internal contents. We therefore strongly advise all clients not to include valuable items inside the home, for example jewellery, consumer electronics equipment (TV's, DVD players etc.), tools, etc. The home itself is being shipped and any relevant duties paid, goods inside are undeclared and therefore subject to seizure without warning. If clients are unsure whether an item can safely be included please verify with us before including them. Any goods we have not verified and fall outside the limitations are included at the clients risk, we are not responsible for them and they are uninsured. Transit insurance is included in our package pricing. We also permit the inclusion of goods (as previously limited) up to the value of £500 to be shipped inside the mobile home. Our default cover is sufficient for the limited contents allowed to be transported inside the homes. They should be properly packed for the journey. We advise that small packages are packed in large boxes of less than 26 inches wide. Please use the largest possible packaging within this parameter, as this helps to reduce losses due to damage and or theft. Home Insurance once sited can usually be arranged directly through the site. FINAL DELIVERY STAGE & INSTALLATION It is sometimes the case that a mobile home cannot be taken direct to the plot by the transport company due to difficulties of access. This is more likely to occur with larger mobile homes and particularly with 12 ft wide units. A crane is provided within our package costings for standard discharge and positioning. Very rarely trees may have to be removed and/or additional services employed to manoeuvre a mobile home safely onto its plot, this is more likely to happen in the case of deliveries to privately owned land. It is rarely known in advance if such services are required, when they are all costs appertaining are additional and to be met by the client at the time unless agreed in advance. For these and other reasons some sites may require the owners to be present for the arrival of their mobile home on the site. Due to the potential for delays beyond our control within the transit system, associated problems maybe created for owners. For example, if you have committed to travel arrangements and the mobile home is subsequently delayed. We do not accept liability for these or related problems unless anticipated and agreed in advance. Homes should be inspected at the time of delivery by the owner or their delegated agent (excluding Hotspotz personnel), any faults found must be reported within 48 hours and a complete fault list provided in writing to our offices within 14 days. The company does not accept liability for consequential losses due to transit damage or related losses. Due to the complex nature of the package, numerous arrangements must be made on behalf of each client. This includes multi stage logistics, comprising amongst other things shipping and road transports within the UK and Europe. Each region of every country crossed must have individual transport permissions arranged with local police forces and other relevant authorities. Escort services must also be arranged for larger units, all in all this is a complex and time consuming aspect of the package. When added to the arrangements necessary for plot finding and allocation in other countries, considerable efforts are required. For these and other reasons we encourage clients to visit sites prior to ordering mobile homes, as once the process has started and the purchase agreed we become liable for considerable charges & expenses. In the event of plot allocations being cancelled (by the client) prior to package payment being made, some charges may be passed on to the client. Once the package purchase is confirmed a deposit of 30% from package cost is to be paid, followed by the statutory 7 day cooling off period, though costs may be applied to cancelled orders. Final balance payment should normally be made on or before the 14th day from order date, after which the sale is deemed complete. In order to satisfy the various demands on stock or for refurbishment and logistics schedules, please ensure you read all sections of the site thoroughly prior to proceeding. The average schedule from order to arrival on site is 8 weeks, if your requirements differ please talk to us and we can discuss options. We recommend that if you have specific requirements with regards to location or site facilities (disabled etc) you should visit the site prior to making your purchase decisions. As stated variously on our website it is advisable to complete your site/plot selection and provisional reservation prior to concluding your mobile home package purchase. In the event that a client opts to reserve a plot without completing a site visit we will attempt to provide as much information as possible. We do not however accept any liability for the accuracy of that information; as such information is subject to change by the site owners/operators without prior notice to ourselves. In the event a mobile home is purchased without first viewing the site and allocated plot, we cannot accept liability for ensuing or related problems. In the event a site and or plot are selected without advance viewing, under no circumstances can we accept liability for ensuing or related problems. From time to time, delays may occur for a variety of reasons. For example, transport companies can and do have breakdowns. Shipping companies are affected by weather conditions. Strikes can happen within any of the sections comprising the logistics mechanism. These possibilities are in addition to acts of God and are typical examples of how delays may occur, but possible delays are not limited to any of the above. From time to time site owners / operators may revise site plans without prior notice to our selves, as a result of which plot availability and allocation may change without notice. This may happen because of local bylaw changes or simply due to commercial or safety considerations, such events are of course beyond our control. We therefore reserve the right to provide alternative choices for location, which would include the full range of selections from our extensive range of partner sites throughout Europe. Great care is taken to bring all of the elements of the package together on schedule wherever possible; however we do not accept liability for transport delays or late plot allocation changes due to circumstances outside of our control. HOLIDAY RENTALS All rentals require a minimum 35% booking fee on the day of reservation, this reservation fee is none refundable in the event of cancellation. The rental balance must be paid in full 90 days prior to departure, no refunds for cancellation are possible within 60 days of departure. In the rare event a problem may arise, it should be reported to the advisor who handled the booking where possible, a contact number is also clearly displayed in all properties rented through us. Alternatively queries may be addressed to one of the UK contact numbers provided in correspondence and on our website. Please allow reasonable time for an advisor to reach the site and to make any necessary arrangements to deal with your queries. In the event of any problem arising with accomodation, the local advisor will either resolve in a reasonable time frame or alternative accomodation will be provided. In the event we are unable to resolve a problem and are unable to offer alternative accomodation, claims for refunds whole or partial will be considered on merit. However please note, we are agents for the individual private owners, and all refunds are ultimately at the owners discretion.
