Malaga, Costa Del Sol, Spain

When arriving at Malaga airport, most visitors head straight for Costa del Sol central and forget that Malaga the city even exists!

It's a city with a thriving port and traffic clogged streets but there is another side to Malaga waiting to be discovered by every visitor

Malaga Airport is 8 kilometres west of the city of Malaga and is main flight path for million people arriving on the Costa del Sol each year. The airport is next to the main A7 coast road that links to the AP7 Autopista del Sol motorway for Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola and Marbella and Gibraltar to the west and Malaga, Nerja, Granada the East.

To go to and from Malaga has been made a lot easier in the last few years with the opening of new motorways and will soon be even easier when the extension of the N340 / A7 motorway that will pass near the park and run all the way to Malaga cutting journey times to near the one and a half hour mark.
